Loving Hut is an international vegan food chain, which serves a varied menu of fast food. My impression is that a lot of the food is Asian inspired, and as I have visited several of the branches around the world (they have more than 200 worldwide), I see that the menus are locally adapted.
Loving Hut Oslo serves a wide selection of food, including vegan, organic, raw and non-GMO. The branch is located close to St.Hanshaugen and is easily reached by foot (15-20 minute walk from the city center by bus 37 from the city center. The restaurant is small and simple, and not a place to hang out at for hours. However, the food is great, and the prices are affordable.
Their menu includes salads, spring rolls, burgers, vegan “beef”, noodle dishes, raw lasagne, falafel and much more. My favorite is the summer roll with spicy satay sauce, and their burgers are good. If you check out their Facebook page, you’ll see they share news from the restaurant and some yummy food photos.
There is also another branch of Loving Hut in Fredensborgveien 29. Note that these two restaurants are independent branches of the same chain, and they have different menus.
