This market is pure inspiration for me, because I love knitting, crochet work, pearls, steel wire, colourful accessories and funny jewellery. The Sunday marked at Blå has it all. Sometimes I come here for new ideas, and sometimes I stumble upon something so charming that I also do some shopping.
Every Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00, you can find designers and crafters who sell their goods both indoors and outdoors. Knit wear, toys, bags, wallets, scarves, jewellery, clothes, ceramics, glass, paintings, and purses – you can find many nice things here.
There are also secondhand vendors selling vintage, shoes, bags and clothes. The size of the market varies, but this is not a big market to walk around for hours, rather a small break on your walk along Akerselva (check the Akerselva article).
You can buy coffee and waffles, and sometimes I have seen Asian street food sold here as well. Have a look at their Facebook page, you will find many photos from the market serving as inspiration for both shopping and for things you can make yourself.
As we approach Christmas, the market will also be open some Saturdays. Check their Facebook page for Saturday markets.
