Supreme Roastworks is one of the best places to go for a coffee experience in Oslo. And I do say experience, as they are home to the 2015 world champion in hand brewed coffee: Odd-Steinar Tøllefsen. At Supreme they also roast their own beans, and it’s a regular hang-out spot for coffee lovers and freelancers alike.
The light wood, the ripped floors, the Tandberg speakers playing both new and old school vinyl – this place has just the right mix of pretentiousness (deserved BTW, as they know their stuff) and laidbackness.
I recommend trusting the barista’s choice when ordering your coffee, but if the sun is shining, why not ask for a “satans god” ice coffee to go? If drip coffee is not your thing, don’t worry – they will fire up their espresso machine, no problem. Add a cinnamon scroll to your cappuccino, and it will brighten up even the dullest of days. And that is coming from someone who doesn’t even like cinnamon scrolls! (usually).
You should also make sure to pick up a bag of beans to bring home.
