I don’t consider myself the outdoorsy type, but when it comes to Lompa Friluft (=outdoors), I definitely am! It’s a part of Olympen, but this lovely roof top terrace deserves an article of its own. On a sunny afternoon, this is the perfect place to relax with a beer and some hearty food from the outdoor grill.

A three-course meal for less than NOK 300 is actually a really good deal, considering the high quality of the food. And if you’re into beer, Lompa Friluft offers a wide range of beers from Norwegian microbreweries, along with some nice Belgian sour ales.

Because the terrace is surrounded by apartments, it has to close early, which kind of sucks. But then again, it could also be used as an excuse to start drinking a little earlier in the afternoon…
