While looking for a new sport to do, I completely fell for this new sport called “spinning”: one room, 30 exercise bikes, loud music and 45 minutes of sweat.
One coach in front of all the bikes is shouting instructions about what to do on your bike with push-ups, barbell exercises, speeding up while seated or up on the bike and so on. He is also there to motivate us, help us follow the music and push ourselves further: mind over body.
Every coach has his particularity: one often focuses on arm exercise, one has a RnB playlist… which allows you to choose the coach that fits your needs or music taste the most.
It is hard but it is so good, you feel so great after one session because you’ve given everything. They also have a 1-hour-long session called champion and “warriors” with 45 minutes plus 15 minutes of exercise dedicated to cardio exercise, abdominal exercise etc. If it’s your first time spinning, please avoid the 1 hour class which is exhausting!
