La cuisine de l’E7 is the name of the restaurant located in the Hotel Edouard VII which is near the Paris Opera House. I went there with my sister for her birthday. The decoration is simple but elegant. The staff is very attentive. The dishes are both original and refined.
I had the Perfect Egg as a starter. It was original and excellent. It was an egg accompanied by risotto, ham and a tile of parmesan cheese. I chose the grilled tuna as the main course. It was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a butternut purée and small crunchy vegetables.
Finally, I opted for a light and sweet vanilla and fig dessert to finish this dinner. It consisted of vanilla mousse with pieces of fig, a biscuit and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My sister chose the foie gras as a starter, the risotto with mushrooms as a main course and the apple with caramel salted butter as a dessert. She particularly liked the risotto. The presentation of all the dishes was very nice.
The prices are quite high but by booking on La Fourchette you can benefit from a promotion.
