Finding a boulangerie is easy, but finding a good one is not quite as easy a task! Especially when, like I do, you care about what you eat and rather pay a bit more for some bread made out of great ingredients.
It is why I love L’autre Boulange (also because it is a 1-minute walk from my place) who make bread out of organic flour: wheat, barley and so on. Sell into baguettes or sliced bread, it is the perfect combo with everything from jam to cheese.
They also have cookies, including a custard they are known for and some gluten-free cake which is a must try even if you don’t care about gluten (like me) or a brioche with orange blossom, good also for 4 pm snack. If you are more into croissants, they also sell almond croissants. In a word, they have everything for a perfect breakfast or “gouter” as we say in French (4pm snack)
Come early as they run quickly out of stock, especially on weekends when they are open only on Saturday morning.
