Paris summers can be hot as hell, but not necessarily. As soon as temperatures rise, outdoor swimming pools are tout de suite full of people. It is therefore all the better to know that the outdoor part of this swimming pool always offers a good temperature. It recently attracted attention by heating one of its pools through computer servers, making use of energy waste.
I can only welcome these kind of clever solutions, but what made me come here initially is the lovely architecture. The swimming pool is a historical monument and – built in the 1920s – it is one of the oldest that you can find in Paris. It has a cute, rounded shape, as far as swimming pools can be cute.
It isn’t that big though, and the opening hours are quite particular. I recommend going there during weekdays if the weather is hot, and do make sure to be there in the early afternoon, as it usually closes by 18:00 already. Check the full schedule here, although it can change due to school holidays. But once the effort is taken, a little swim always makes you feel better!
