My name is Maja and I was born in 1990. I studied in the Czech Republic and in the United Kingdom, but I would always come back to Montenegro. I’m working in the civil society and I love traveling and checking spots on Spotted by Locals ( : .
Why Podgorica
I love my city because it is mine first of all.
Podgorica is a very warm place with nice people with a specific attitude and a specific kind of humor. It is full of ordinary people who make it a city with a soul. Also, Podgorica is the smallest and least famous of all of the capitals in ex-Yugoslavia, often being forgotten and neglected, so I guess most of its citizens have the kind of pride that makes us want to make Podgorica more loved and more attractive to tourists.
