I’m a recent sushi fanatic: it was only a couple of years ago that I tried it, when I was visiting my brother in Barcelona, and it was love at first bite. So, nowadays, every time I see a sushi restaurant with a great price/quality relation, I generally go for it. Two:su.shi was a great surprise for me, with its great sushi and warmful service, right in the heart of the downtown.

Rua da Picaria is evolving to a great place to get our mouths full. Fresh and European-style restaurants are popping up like flowers in the Netherlands, with a range of different kinds of food. So, when I was warned about it, I had to go there and have a go at Two:su.shi.

The restaurant is small, with only a couple of tables. That is actually a plus, because it becomes alive quite fast. The decoration is simple and inspired by Japanese minimalism, quite appealing.

With good options for lunch menus, what stands out is the taste and flavour of the sushi itself, probably on the top ten best that I’ve tried ever. For what it’s worth, financially speaking, it’s a rare deal. And, when the sushi hunger comes, we know that only sushi can fill it.

So, if you happen to be wandering around Porto in its charming streets, and the sushi munchies get the best of you, consider Two:su.shi as an excellent place to defeat that dragon!
