About me
I am half Czech and half Polish born in Brno, and I was always keen on trying out new on-line projects – which led me through the studies of media through writing a first Czech thesis on Web 2.0, being an on-line representative of a bank and finally to a position of social media marketing specialist. I believe internet has given us a wider choices and chances to change things.
In travelling, this pays twice – I learned it through my own experience as both a host and a guest on Hospitality Club and Couchsurfing, thus it was just logical to welcome Spotted by Locals, since you cannot take personal care of every newcomer to your city, but you at least write for them.
Prague
It might sound weird, but I still haven’t fallen in love with Prague and I prefer my hometown as a place to live. On the other hand, I believe there are few cities in Europe as interesting as Prague.
Unfortunately too often our fellow citizens abuse this and take advantage of tourists, ripping them off in various ways. All the initiatives like Spotted by Locals help the fair entrepreneurs and patriots to show the best we have to offer.
