So it sometimes happens that on a weekend I wake up with the ambitions to go on a trip outside Prague. You know, just to get out of the city, enjoy a little bit of nature. And so it happens that I rarely make it, for one reason or another. I then usually end up at a place like Alchymista. The reason is not just to fill up on cakes. Although yes, cakes work wonderfully as a substitute for fallen-through plans and Alchymista is the real pro at perfecting the art of cake making, but beyond that, this café has one big advantage, and that is its amazing garden. It is a true downtown oasis with trees, different varieties of flowers, bushes and more less secluded places to sit and relax.
Get yourself a coffee or one of their summer cocktails and pick a cake to go with it. The offer varies but if you happen to come on a day when they serve the peanut butter cheesecake, that is the one to go for.
