Bistro Sister is one of my favorites spots in Prague. Chlebíček (read: something like a sandwich but much tastier!) is a typical Prague specialty, but at the Sisters bistro they’ve moved it to a higher level with even more delicious new flavours.
You can choose from many different ingredients, like herring with wasabi cream, salmon or shrimp. I like the most vegetarian variation, which is beetroot spread with bit of goat cheese. Another good thing about this chlebíček is that you can be sure that one or two is enough to satisfy you. Very delicious is their homemade bread (rye or white bread), which is fresh every day and they bake it especially for the bistro. I love that when you are in a hurry you can have it as take away and the staff will pack it in very smart, small boxes for you.
The interior is nice, simple and modern. It has a few seats inside, so if it’s cold, you can enjoy your delicious meal inside, like for example pumpkin soup. The bistro is located in the same passage as Naše maso (check the Naše Maso article) and next to it is the equally great place Bistroteka di Aromi. If it’s crowded in Sisters you don’t have to leave with an empty belly!
The bistro is very close to the Old town square in Dlouhá street. I hope you will enjoy it, I’m now looking forward to my next visit and breakfast there.
