I would rather go about my day not drinking coffee at all than drinking bad coffee, so I have “my” coffee places carefully spotted around the different neighborhoods of the city to avoid running into the “Czech Turkish coffee” kind of experience. Pražírna is conveniently located at I.P.Pavlova, a busy traffic junction, right on the connecting line between my home and my work place.
Its cozy interior invites one to lounge around chatting endlessly over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Like most of the other cafes I spot, Pražírna is no exception when it comes to mouth-watering cakes and snacks. They also have the Czech classic – nakládaný hermelín – served with walnuts. You should savor it together with a glass of one of their microbrewery beers.
Occasionally, Pražírna throws a dance party and while the space is very limited and not exactly a dance hall, great fun is guaranteed!
