When I was a child, I used to spend hours in the municipal library and reading books at home. I was literally surrounded by books. I guess our little one will be the same, she simply loves them :-).
Finding a quality book for children is not always easy. Therefore I’m glad that there are places in Prague where there is a big concentration of them. Pinwheels is a tiny bookstore at Řeznická street (a new location – they had to end at the previous one in Anglická street) They have a nice selection of both Czech and English books, many of them from smaller publishing houses (like Baobab, Běžíliška, Labyrint etc, speaking about the Czech ones).
I appreciate that in Pinwheels they really care about what they do and I can always have a nice conversation there (not only) about books. If you are not sure what to buy, you will get some good recommendation for sure.
Last but not least, you can also get (take-away) coffee at Pinwheels. Good coffee and books – that is a combination that works very well for me.
P.S. The picture is from Anglická, I have to visit the new location asap :-).
