Pražské židle – Chill in the middle of the square

Wanna go out, grab a bottle of wine and sit outside but there is no place where to sit? The city of Prague decided to change that and started to place freely accessible tables and chairs where you can come, bring whatever you want and do whatever you want.

The coolest thing about Pražské židle is that they are mostly placed at places where you wouldn’t maybe expect them. One of my favourite is for example at Malostranské náměstí in the very center. So after tiring walk down from Prague castle you can just sit down, have a rest and enjoy the rush of the city. There are also some around the river where I use it the most. Especially when I don’t feel like spending money on beer gardens or Náplavka boats.

Currently there are about 40 places where you can enjoy their tables and chairs. Check out their website to find the map with the exact spots.

So if you are not that kind of person who would enjoy sitting on the river bank, or if there is no more space, try Pražské židle.
