Anděl district is known as a shopping and business area of the city, therefore you can imagine how crowded it is. However there is also a hidden place where I always enjoy having a rest when I’m around.
Prague offers lots of different parks, but Sacre Coeur, named after the famous Parisian sight, is special ’cause it’s hidden behind the shopping mall. To reach the park you have to enter the shopping mall, go to the first floor and find the hallway to the toilets and Sacre Coeur sign. Then just walk over the bridge and you are in the park.
The park itself is basically a regular park with a nice playground for children but what I appreciate the most about this spot is the viewpoint; it offers one of the best views on Prague. So every time I’m tired after a day spent working or walking around the city and I’m nearby, I just go and buy something small in the mall and enjoy the great view from Sacré Coeur.
