Street Food Jam takes place every second Sunday starting in May in the garden in front of the Cross Club (check the Cross Club article). There are many different stands offering a wide selection of different cuisines. You can get typical Swiss raclette as well as Mexican quesadillas or just buy a sausage and roast it on an open fire the Czech way.
My favourite is definitely the foodtruck ‘Prague Jerk Station’. These guys are originally from South America and make the best BBQ stuff around in their stylish grill made of an old barrel. Don’t miss their pulled pork with mango sauce, this one always makes me feel like I’m in South America for a while.
There are also many stands for vegetarians and vegans. And if you wanna try something really exotic, last time I was offered fried crickets and worms and I’ve even tried frog legs.
In combination with good music and the spirit of the Cross Club’s garden Street Food Jam is a perfectly spent Sunday lunch time for me.
