Troja – Trail by Vltava river

Since I live in Kobylisy, my apartment is pretty close to a beautiful area in Prague called Troja. When the weather is nice and I find someone brave enough to go rollerblading with me, I choose this place.

Some parks in Prague or areas designated for such activity like rollerblading are more of a circle that you travel round and round. Which can get a little boring after a few such repetitions. On the contrary, you can find a trail like there is in Troja that goes alongside the river and while you are enjoying your ride (trying not to fall in my case), you can also admire the beautiful countryside.

The way I get to Troja is really easy. I just take my favorite tram 14 (check the tram 14 article) down the hill to the tram stop Trojska. If you don’t have skates, walking will be just as pleasant. The trail is connected to the park Stromovka (check the Stromovka article) by a bridge. So why not to combine a sport activity with a nice picnic there?
