U Rozjetý žáby – Friendly frogs welcome

I must say the name of the place is not of the most appealing I have heard about. Literally it means “Run-over frog”, but do not worry. Every time I was there, the only frogs were pictured on the walls and the place was full of very friendly locals. Here you can learn about young chilled-out subculture of snowboarding / table-football / ganja fans. Vintage tables, worn-out design and great beer (Svijany).

There are not many meals, but still they won’t let you be hungry – some snacks including super-cheeseburger are on offer. Behind the bar there is a special “hidden part” – sitting there will make you feel like on a conspiracy meeting in a submarine! From time to time there are also concerts – you can find out more on their fancy full-of-flash website.

It maybe doesn’t sound that special, but the cosy atmosphere, funny stickers everywhere, table football, chess board, free jukebox and of course free wi-fi – and simply great sense of humour – all that makes the place special.
