I have to share with you one of my Prague obsessions. It’s about finding new and fresh looks at the famous Prague panorama. And just recently I found this spot.
It is just a few steps from metro station Vyšehrad, and on your way to Vyšehrad castle (check the article Vyšehrad castle). Just walk up the stairs if you arrive from I.P. Pavlova stop (from the Pražského povstání directon, walk below the metro first to get to the other side, and then take the stairs up) and you will be rewarded by an amazing, and more than 180 degrees view.
From ŽIžkov tower over Prague Castle to Děvín, this amazing Prague panorama line is in front of you like it’s in the palm of your hand. It is putting Prague Castle into interesting perspective, giving it much less of a presence than you are used to from postcards and touristic brochures. And that’s exactly what I like about this spot.
