Oh, those wonderful Sundays with no rush, without any worries. Like the one when I took my family to finally visit the Culture palace Ziemeļblāzma and the wonderful park around it.
The palace and park are done perfectly, you can even wander through the halls of the building, not only the ones where the events are held. A bright and spacious cafe is located near the park in the back of the palace building. I enjoyed my time there sharing a fresh strawberry cake with my wife and son and marveled at those shining chandeliers they have.
A lots of events, exhibitions and theater venues are planned to be held here so the Culture Palace is alive all year round. Just check out the homepage for the recent events to plan the best time for your visit as it takes some time to get here.
The park is a wonderful place to have a picnic or just to spend a lazy afternoon or morning whatever you prefer. Or could it be just watching the blue, blue Riga’s sky with some Simpsons styled clouds is the right thing for you?
