The smell of pastry and happy kids all around are definitely the first two things you notice when stepping through the doors of Pietura. The cafe is warm, welcoming and apparently also full of cakes, croissants and other snacks that students from nearby schools seem to enjoy so much.
I shall start describing Pietura by saying that it is very close to a stereotypical coffee shop with either ceramic or paper cups with a well known logo, cinnamon buns and 3 layer chocolate cakes, but in the best way possible. After coming in, each visitor is welcomed with a smile and even the grumpiest commuters usually leave Pietura with a little grin on their face.
What is different about Pietura, however, is the people who go there. Although the place could be easily suited for a bearded adolescent with a Macbook in his hands, this place is mostly surrounded by parents and their younglings enjoying a great piece of cake in honour of a seemingly successful schoolday. Gleeful, I must say!
