Valmiermuiža is a brewery near Valmiera. A town in Vidzeme, Latvia if you want to look it up on the map.

From the moment they started brewing beer it became my favorite from all the Latvian beers. No surprise that I became even more happier when they opened this nice gourmand shop – buffet in Riga.

Not only beer can be purchased here but lots of locally produced delicacies like cranberry or quince succades or deer meat sausages or the famous Vītolberga cheese.

The handy concept combining qualities of shop and buffet into a great mix allows you to rave on your picked goodies seconds over cold beer filled up the glass at the warm-dark brown wooden tables.

This is a great place to rest your feet and to taste variety of Valmiermuižas beers or locally produced “brandavas” – home made liquors. Not forgetting their quality food (local ingreadients) a fantastic feast for every tommy.
