About me
I’m a sociologist and qualitative researcher. I was born in Rome and have lived here all my life, except for a nine-year period in my 20’s, which I spent in Boston. There, I attended university and worked on and off but, eventually, felt the need to return to my home country and home-town.
Back in Rome, I now work as a freelancer doing mostly market research but also getting involved in a variety of different projects: writing, translation, and teaching.
Why Rome?
I have a love-hate relationship with this city!
Rome is overcrowded, dirty, polluted, disorganized, and chaotic. At any time of day, you may be sitting in your car, bottled up in traffic and asking yourself, why do I live here?!
Yet, as you make a turn, or cross a bridge, you may happen to see St. Peter’s dome over the Tiber, sparrows flying in a rose-orange sky at sunset, or you may happen to notice some small detail you never saw before. Rome is also a city of wonders.
