About me
In 2000 I moved to Rotterdam to share my life with co spotter and wife Marianne Ketting. In no time she was able to get me to like and enjoy this city, where she more or less lived all her life. Rotterdam has a relatively new core due to the great devastation by the bombardments in the early days of the Second World War.
A new city with fascinating architecture arose in return. Mixed with the ever so important impact of the huge port and a fairly large portion of inhabitants born and raised abroad, it has grown into a true metrolopitan area. Let us see if I can succeed in sharing with you a good insight of the city and its lifestyle by pointing out my list of characteristic spots.
