nHow’s bar and terrace – For a stunning view

We have many nice terraces (during warmer seasons) like Pincoff’s and Allure’s, both overlooking the Entrepot Harbour at the Kop van Zuid or outside the Fenix Food Factory (see also article) with a Rijnharbour view or Hotel New York facing the river Maas.

Not many people know that the rooftop terrace at the nHOW-hotel has, as they themselves put it, “one hell of a view”. It faces North, giving you an amazing view of the river Maas, a part of the city skyline of Rotterdam, the Erasmus (and Willems)bridge and the Noordereiland. The bar is located on the 7th floor of the nHow hotel in the ‘De Rotterdam‘-building which was designed by Rem Koolhaas/OMA.

Take the elevator, have a seat at one of the windows and hang out with your friends or make it romantic and watch the sunset with your lover :-).

This building certainly attracts a diverse crowd, whether it’s for the architecture or to accompany your tipple with this view and do some people watching. The door to the terrace is closed during the winter but you can still see the nice views around through the big floor to ceiling windows.

On Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 to 02:00 you can enjoy the SKY Nights at nHow’s bar/kitchen while DJs spin their records. Feeling peckish? They offer a snack or an Urban8 menu till 11pm.

If you don’t like, or are afraid of, heights check out HMB restaurant on the ground floor as they (also) have really good (re)views.
