Paul Posse is a true pioneer.
Once he started the Rotabs building in the old North with small shops of local designers, which now houses the new micro brewery and taproom Noordt.
Paul is back in the South – the so-called “Brooklyn” of Rotterdam – with POSSE.
The Fenix II warehouse (see the Fenix Food Factory article) is his newest location on the left part of the building at Veerlaan and culinary square, Deliplein. This is in the Katendrecht neighbourhood, also known as the Kaap, just over the river in the South part.
The bar is at a cool spot and it has two parts now, depending on the weather and temperature :-). There’s a big terrace but if it’s too cold, head indoors and find yourself a seat between the furniture, art books or have a bite there.
There’s food available for lunch and dinner by chef The Pack of Wolves and drinks.
A DJ might be spinning old vinyl records. There are events happening like Denim/Tweed Rides, live music during Quite Quiet and more.
Check the website for the latest updates or just visit in person for a drink, browse through the place, there’s plenty of stuff to check out which is also for sale like vintage bikes and furniture.
It’s a nice place to stroll to and have a pit stop when you’re coming from the center over the Erasmusbridge towards Katendrecht by the new ‘love’ bridge via Kop van Zuid (just follow the signs to Hotel NY and Katendrecht).
