Bize is a very romantic spot located close to Mayakovskaya metro station. The name refers to the French word ‘la bise’, which means a kiss. So sweet 🙂
Bize follows French traditions when it comes to sweets and bakery. You can find various macarons, meringues and eclairs. Don’t forget about the famous ‘Pavlova’ dessert and enjoy it with coffee, you’ll be feeling light, gentle and happy. Bize is a very modern cafe and provides sweets for gluten intolerant guests. The cafe has some less-French dishes, for example soups, pasta and even homemade pelmeni or Russian dumplings :). Everything is fresh and tasty, does not matter what type of cooking tradition the dish has.
When I first visited Bize with my best friend, we decided this cafe was created to survive in cloudy and moody St. Petersburg. When you are sitting with your fresh and crunchy croissant and a warm cup of cafe au lait (coffee with milk), listening to Zaz, singing Je veux and dreaming of the next vacation to the Provence, life feels good and sweet.
