Gosti (translation is “Guests“) is the cozy restaurant and confectionery shop located not far from the Isaac Cathedral.
Gosti is designed as a homey place with cute lampshades and plaques. That is probably why my family is fond of this place and is happy to celebrate someone’s birthday or reunion. It seems that our impression is not unique at all, every time we had a dinner in Gosti there were at least two birthday parties.
There are two floors in the restaurant. On the ground floor you can find a confectionery shop with great sweets and strong coffee. I would recommend you try the cake Napoleon with pears, which won the first prize in the local confectionery competition. Homemade cookies are also good. On the first floor there is a big dining space with several zones and a childrens’ room. In my experience, there are few free places, particularly during weekends or evenings, so it is better to book a table in advance.
Apart from tasty food, there are also entertainment activities, for example musical concerts or cooking workshops for children.
