Prosto Vino is the project launched by the owners of Coffee in the kitchen. I suppose that the original idea was to create a cozy space for those who love wine, soft cheese and Spanish jamon. Prosto Vino means Simply wine, however the wine range is not simple at all. Here you can find Spanish cava as well as some rare Russian wines from the Southern regions – from for instance Gaï – Kodzor Vineyards. Normally, wine is pretty expensive in all Russian bars and restaurants, however here the price is really friendly.
Every day barkeepers write down different wines which are available for degustation on the big blackboards. The menu is also written on the blackboards, but the small ones. The food and wine content is changing, but it is always tasty.
Apart from gastronomic pleasures, I should say that the ambient itself is great. Funky music and subdued lighting automatically makes everybody relaxed and talkative.
