Andrea Griffin (1963)

About me
I was born in San Francisco and grew up in Berkeley where I lived until I went to college at the University of California, Davis. After living in various other cities, and a couple other states, a new job brought me back to San Francisco as an adult. I worked for a graphic design studio for several years before opening my own graphic design business.

Photography is a passion as is my love of animals. I am an avid exerciser, have studied Italian for many years and am a spirited traveler with a special place in my heart for my city of San Francisco.

Why San Francisco
First, I’m a native so it’s almost like San Francisco is in my DNA.

San Francisco offers so many different kinds of neighborhoods to live in and explore, each with its own distinct vibe. Within each of those neighborhoods, the people, parks, architecture, restaurants, arts and history is unique.

There’s an excitement to the city that tingles my spine. Each time I set out to explore, I discover something new whether it’s super cool architecture, some new hole-in-the-wall restaurant or a quiet place to sit and look at the view.

I love how many people from other countries come to San Francisco. While out and about in the city, I often hear several different languages being spoken and one of my favorite things is to try and figure out where they’re from and what their story might be. Some are visitors, some live here.

Where else can you find me online?
