This cafe is a family business and when I go there I have that feeling of homely atmosphere. Perfect place for coffee or tea. It is right in the city center on the coast of the river, and before or after you’ve been there, you can have a nice walk, passing some of the nicest architecture in the city.
The biggest reason I am recommending this place is for its interior done in vintage style. It’s decorated in lots of little interesting objects like dolls, old frames, musical instruments, sculptures… all very unique and interesting. It has lots of old lamps so the light inside is very special and perfect for the winter months with the mulled wine that they serve there. However, if you find yourself here in warmer weather, there is a nice garden in front that overlooks the river and is perfect for hiding from the heat.
It’s also one of the rare places in the city that’s dog friendly, so dog owners choose it for their drink after a walk by the river.
The atmosphere is always relaxing and everything seems slowed down. You will hear lots of Ex Yu music here, that is hits from former Yugoslavia. All in all a perfect place for a lazy afternoon.
