There are only a few cafes in Skopje that have been able to survive the aggressive competition from the everchanging and innovative “new kids on the block”, and one of those cult places is certainly Cafe Lee. It’s the little things that create the magic of Cafe Lee that I love so much.
Reason 1: I love the fact that Lee is tucked in a cozy neighbourhood not so far from the center where you can avoid the loud noises and just relax. The second reason is the small things included in the service. The coffees look amazing, the drinks are decorated and you always get something extra on the side.
Since I am a passionate whiskey drinker I love the fact that they serve it in a special flask, a slightly smaller dose than the regular one, but also considerably cheaper, and they also bring me an empty glass, and ice cubes on the side, so it feels like I’m making own drink. A mini royal service just for me.
And last, but not least, there are the events. Cafe Lee definitely became famous for this so I regularly go there when there are photo exhibitions or book promotions. All and all, Lee is another must see place in Skopje any day of the week. That’s my choice for tonight, too and I will be going for their tasty salep.
