All year round La Tana restaurant looks good, nicely decorated from the outside, and very rustic all over. But probably the moment I fell in love with the place was during the winter holidays when the restaurant dresses up in the most beautiful lights.
Considered the best kafana (Macedonian restaurant) in Skopje, there is nothing at this place that will disappoint you. The rustic design, old Macedonian music and recipes will blow your mind.
If you want to live truly the Macedonian life, start with a Shopska salad and rakija, then order some meat from kebab to steak, everything is good, and don’t forget to enjoy their wines. As a side dish for meat do order French fries with cheese (“pomfrit so sirenje”) with some nafora and cheese. And in the ultimate Macedonian style, try to dance and enjoy the music. La Tana welcomes everyone every day for live authentic music.
Na zdravije (Cheers in Macedonian).
