Recently I traveled to Malta, and it was surprising to see that the atmosphere there was reminiscent of the Arabic culture, and also in particular Moroccan. The same style of buildings and streets and this actually is not surprising keeping in mind that Malta is really close to Africa.
Well, the case with Sofia is not the same at all, I could hardly think of any similarities between Sofia and Morocco except for one. We have a very nice Moroccan restaurant in Sofia.
I first came across Annette when my friends and I were trying to find a good shisha place. And it wasn’t an easy task, but thankfully we found Anette and the first impression was made by their good shishas with different flavors and the authentic Arabic atmosphere. Since then I’ve found that they also have various Arabic style dishes like hummus, couscous, appetizers, falafels, and a lot more, all very delicious.
Despite its location in the heart of the center Annette somehow still remains hidden from the big crowds which for me is always a plus. The spacious garden is also perfect for hot summer days. So whenever I feel like I want to eat something more exotic or to spend some relaxing hours with friends I know that I won’t make a mistake with Annette.
