If I have to describe Lavanda with one word it would definitely be romantic. The name more or less says it well, “Lavanda”, like the lavender it reminds me of tranquility and conjures up romantic associations. I reserve special attention to places which have some kind of homey atmosphere and everything in the interior looks like it’s been left there by coincidence. And Lavanda is just that kind of place.
The setting of Lavanda is perfect for a romantic evening especially on the small balcony with many flowers and candles, but it is also a nice place to spend enjoyable hours talking with friends.
If I haven’t convinced you yet that Lavanda is worth a visit even just for the interior and the atmosphere wait until I tell you about the food. I really appreciate places with a short menu and selected dishes and Lavanda has exactly that. The salads are fantastic, as are the starters. The mains are delicious and beautifully decorated. The bread and the small sweets are complements of the items.
If you have the opportunity to go there for lunch do not miss the lunch menu. I won’t explain how good it is, I will only say that I am very jealous of people who can often be around Lavanda during lunch time because unfortunately, I can’t.
P.S. Lavanda shares the same garden with One more bar, so just go to the left when you enter the garden and you will see the sign for Lavanda.
