You know everyone needs to “let off steam” (as we say in Bulgaria) from time to time and what a better thing to do instead of chilling in a good club. When it comes to nightclubs I prefer classic ones – with an unpretentious interior, good sounds and nice people. That’s why Swingin’ Hall is exactly my type of club. Swingin’ Hall is one of the oldest clubs in Sofia and despite the many new clubs and bars opening up around town it’s still a preferred place for many locals.
One of the things I like the most about Swingin’ Hall is that they have two separate lounges and two stages in each of them. Usually there are two bands performing and while one of the bands is taking a break from playing, the performance of the band from the other lounge is projected on a video wall. If you want to fully enjoy the entertainment of listening to the performance of both bands live you can always switch lounges like my friends and I sometimes do.
The genre of the music varies from rock, jazz and pop, the bands vary too – sometimes you can see some of the most famous Bulgarian bands and other times there are bands which, despite being not so popular, are also very good.
The combination of good atmosphere, fantastic live performances and smiling people has to be more than enough for an unforgettable evening and you can find it all in Swingin’ Hall.
