The tea house, also known as chocolatey, is one of my favourite spots in the city. I admire the original idea that created the place. There are two separate parts for smokers and non-smokers. From the kitchen you can take your order.
You won’t find anything like soda or the commercial brands that you’re used to. But you could find incredible combinations of cold fruit and herbal teas (looking more like juice), Himalayas tea, herbal teas, home made chocolate, wine, creams or cakes. All prepared right there in the kitchen. My favourites are cold tea from lemon and peppermint (plus 10 more ingredients I’d never remember) and piece of chocolate cake. They use no sugar in the kitchen, only honey if needed. In winter I’d take the marvoulous Himalayan tea.
You should choose a room to stay. Most of them are in different colours and I’ll leave the choice up to your mood. But definitely walk around to see them all – a library, a room in blue, and one in red with black flowers, a room with a piano (that you could play) and still more rooms. The music in the place is chill out but the guests have access to the playlist and can control the music in the room.
Some of the rooms are temporary photo or picture exhibitions, even a live gallery (you’re allowed to draw on the walls). There is a small cinema hall with 2 shows per evening. All of the other secrets you’ll find on the spot.
