About me
I moved to Stockholm in 1999 to start working. I first lived on Södermalm and after living a few years in Årsta and Bromma I’m back on Söder again. My father asked me when I moved back here if it was like coming home again, and it sure did. I love this area and will probably stay here as long as I live in Stockholm.

After working a year as a secretary I decided to go back to school to become a teacher. And that’s what I make my living out of those days. Teaching is such a great job to have in Stockholm. Not only do I have a lot of time off during all the breaks. But it’s great with all the museums, exhibitions, theatres and lots more to take the students to.

I haven’t been truly faithful to Stockholm through out those nine years. I have spent a few months ever now and then travelling, working or studying abroad. But it always feels good to be back in Stockholm again after being away.

Why Stockholm

  • No matter what some people might say, the people here are nice and friendly. You just have to give them time. And a smile.
  • It’s really, really beautiful here. No one can say anything else.
  • Diversity. You can travel the world through all the different restaurants here.
  • Nature. In the summer you can go swimming in the city centre. You can take a short tube ride to national parks. A short boat ride take you out to the archipelago. So it’s not only for city people.
