I’ve just figured out why I’m a fan of Little Persia; it’s the atmosphere. I love to come here when it’s a bit chilly and rainy outside, since the warm interior gets you in a really cosy mood.
The dining part is in the back, but when you first enter there’s a room with couches and small, low tables. And this is where my company and I prefer to sit – you can just order something to drink, yet have your food here as well.
There’s a lot to choose from on the menu – from stews and grilled meat to meze dishes and vegetarian alternatives. I think the food is tasty, but unfortunately it hasn’t gotten standing ovations by the reviewers. So perhaps I’m just not fastidious enough, or I’ve simply made the right choices…
Because of this, I won’t insist that you have dinner. But come to Little Persia for a relaxed glass of wine and perhaps a smaller meze dish at least – it’s a perfect place for that.
