This is one of the places where time stands still. The yellow tiles on the walls, the old school mirrors, the wooden bar, it all feels like it hasn’t been touched for ages. I come here for dinner, or just for a beer with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed, they have food that everyone likes and in the summertime you can enjoy the food at tiny tables on the sidewalk.
The menu, just like the restaurant itself, timeless – a small but classic selection of Swedish and French dishes, a wide variety of charcoal grilled meat and fantastic seafood platters. They also have specials, so don’t forget to have a look at the black slates.
Being a foodie I try to sit just by the kitchen, they have a few seats with tremendous view into the kitchen that are fantastic for food lovers! And as desserts here are lovely and generous (so be sure to take one), a walk along Norr mälarstrand is the perfect finale (check the Norr Mälarstrand article)!
