Holy Greens is where I almost always used to go and get lunch on weekdays (when I’ve been too busy, or lazy, to make make my own). It was located about two minutes from my office at Fridhemsplan, and my heart’s broken now that they’ve closed up here. Though, fortunately, they’re also located in Mood Gallerian (Norrlandsgatan 13), in the same little mall where you can find Bröd & Salt.
I usually get Grönsakslandet (vegetable garden) with red quinoa, beetroot-hummus, avocado, ginger pickled carrots, broccoli, cucumber, pumpkin and sunflower seeds (75 SEK). Okay, who am I kidding – I always get that salad. But they have other really tasty ones too! I just really like the beetroot-hummus. You can of course pick and choose ingredients yourself: most add-ons cost around 5-15 SEK. Another huge plus – all of their salads are organic and locally produced!
In summertime I recommend you buy a salad from Holy Greens and eat it in Kungträdgården, though Holy Greens is still a great option during colder seasons if you’re close by and in a hurry somewhere. I’d avoid the place around 12 o’clock though, when the queue is usually pretty long.
