Kaffeverket is one of the first places I visited when I first moved to Stockholm, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. Kaffeverket serves the best coffee I’ve tried, and you’ll get as many refills as you like! Kaffeverket is located at three different addresses around Stockholm, all with their own personality and slight variation to the menu.
Snickarbacken 7: Kaffeverket’s hidden away hipster café near Östermalm not only serves their great coffee but also one of my favorite sandwiches (cream cheese with blueberries and cinnamon). The vibe here is laid back, and trendy. They have a clothing store adjoining the café, and some beautiful art pieces. Snickarbacken 7 can be hard to locate, so be sure to use a map.
Sankt Eriksgatan 88: Kaffeverket in Vasastan has a more modern feel to it than Kaffeverket on Snickarbacken 7, but they serve the same awesome coffee and pastries. This is the place I visit most frequently since it’s very close to my job. I’d strongly recommend you come here and try the beetroot salad with chèvre cheese for lunch! Also, Overnight Oats and a sandwich are a great way to start the day.
Karlbergsvägen 43: Kaffeverket’s newly opened café Ikon is also located in Vasastan. Like the sister restaurants café Ikon offers everyday breakfast and lunch, but the menu is more dinner friendly. Since it just opened I haven’t been here yet, but based on Kaffeverket’s previous success I have no doubt that it’s great.
The opening hours may vary between the different restaurants!
