Kaffeverket is one of the first places I visited when I first moved to Stockholm, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. Kaffeverket serves the best coffee I’ve tried, and you’ll get as many refills as you like! Kaffeverket is located at three different addresses around Stockholm, all with their own personality and slight variation to the menu. Kaffeverket on Sankt Eriksgatan 88 in Vasastan is the place I visit most frequently since it’s very close to my job. The local has a modern and urban feel to it, but it’s still very homey. They serve the same awesome coffee and pastries like at their other locations, but I recommend you come here for either breakfast or lunch. Overnight Oats and a sandwich is a great way to start the day, and for lunch I strongly recommend you try the beetroot salad with chèvre cheese! I recently went here with my parents and they liked it, “despite the hip feel and loud music”, haha.
Kaffeverket’s hidden away hipster café near Östermalm, Snickarbacken 7, not only serves their great coffee but also one of my favorite sandwiches (cream cheese with blueberries and cinnamon). The vibe here is laid back, and trendy. They have a clothing store adjoining the café, and some beautiful art pieces. Snickarbacken 7 can be hard to locate, so be sure to use a map.
Kaffeverket also have a place at Karlbergsvägen 43, called Ikon. Like the sister restaurants they offer breakfast and lunch, but the menu is more dinner friendly.
