Mosebacke Torg is a little square at a height above Götgatsbacken – the famous part of the street Götgatan on Södermalm where you can find bars, shopping, and a lot of trendiness. I like the calmness up here; people are just sitting around or slowly walking past – a haven for daily strollers.
Despite the peacefulness, there’s a lot going on in the absolute surrounding area. Mosebacketerassen (Mosebacke Terrace) is a must-go-to in the summer. With its open air bar and stunning view over the city it turns into a meeting point for both people just off from work and groups of friends. Despite the current season and that the bar is closed, you should pay a visit anyhow.
Södra Teatern is located next door as well. This old theater nowadays serves as a three floored bar/nightclub, and different events are going on about every night. Every weekend you can also enjoy their brunch buffet.
