Supper is a warm and welcoming South American restaurant in Vasastan. Immediately after you’ve walked through the door you almost feel like you’re walking down the hall to some fantasy land. The image above doesn’t show a small cobbled street in Stockholm, but the corridor you walk down to get to the actual restaurant. The floor isn’t even really cobblestone, but a carpet!
The rest of the restaurant is just as enchanting, and even though there are no windows you don’t feel claustrophobic. In the room where I sat with my co-workers it almost felt like we were sitting at an outdoor seating area in an exotic land with light-chains hanging all over the ceiling. The tiling on the walls is something not often seen in Sweden, which adds to this exotic feeling. Well, it’s exotic for Swedes anyway. As a plus to the beautiful interior – the super nice waitress who served us.
The interior aside, I would not recommend Supper if the food wasn’t delicious. And it was. We ate a six course meal and I have nothing to complain about. I even liked the tuna my boyfriend made me taste?! The best dish was TACO DE CERDO (135 SEK) though, namely salted pork belly, smoked bell pepper and mango chutney. It seriously melts in your mouth! I really recommend you come here with a group of friends and get a little bit of everything instead of ordering just one large dish each, it’s part of the experience.
