It was one of those days when you just stroll around in the city and suddenly, hidden in an ally you find a new favourite spot. Well this actually happened to me with Snickarbacken 7 some years ago. In the building from the late 1800’s there is a café, art gallery and concept store all under the same roof.
When you enter Snickarbacken 7 you are enveloped by the smell of roasted coffee beans. It is a lively café and a popular lunch place. They serve great coffee and sweets, but it’s also worth trying their lunch food. The menu changes often and everything is fresh and tasty. One of my favourites is their caesar salad!
The artwork installation surrounds the café’s tables so take your time to check the posters and paintings while having your coffee. Maybe one of them would look great on your wall! You can easily spend several hours at Snickarbacken 7 also because of their concept store. There you’ll find magazines, Swedish designed clothing, interior design, music, books and children’s wear.
Snickarbacken 7 is really worth a visit!
