The 10th of January this year was the grand opening of Bern’s new townhouse Nosh and Chow. The building, just a block from Stureplan, covers many restaurants, bars and hotel suites. The first restaurant to open was on the bottom floor, open for lunch, dinner and bar hangouts. The menu is based on Swedish commodities with influences from all around the world. They have a mix of North American, North African, South East Asian and Nordic dishes, where you can mix and match how you like it.
Have you tried frog legs? If not, wow, you’ve got to try it here. It absolutely looks like frog legs which may be a little disgusting but tastes like a very juicy chicken leg. It reminds me of the time I spent in Granada studying Spanish.
Another favorite is the bathroom. Designed by Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, it is just like entering a prison. Very Barcelona-like.
If you are visiting Nosh and Chow you won’t be disappointed, not even only for a toilet visit.
