Beer for punks. What a slogan! I think what they mean is simply; come as you are, enjoy our beer as much as we do and be sure to leave your tie at home. The moment this bar opened just around the corner from where I live a new favourite was born. The rough interior with naked brick walls, metal chairs and the bar with endless beer taps is welcoming in its simplicity.
And then it is the beer. If you try all beers on tap on the same night you’ll end up in the hospital a few blocks west from here, so avoid that even though they are so good you just want to keep going. They also have endless kinds of bottled beer, so the selection process is far beyond difficult. But don’t you worry, Magnus and his team will guide you through the barrels and bottles.
All beer served here is craft beer, which basically means that it is made without additives and produced in relatively small scale. Of course they have a lot from the Brew Dog brewery, but they also have a wide range of beers from other small producers. Tip of the day: Don’t order Heineken here!
If you want to stay for dinner, they have a restaurant upstairs. And a five minute walk will take you to AG (check the AG article).
