It was a bit hard to find at first, but if you’re able to find the Mellow bar & restaurant right on Rörstrandsgatan, you will find a staircase inside it that will lead you to a basement that has a Polynesian style touch to it. Are you in the jungle baby?

The bamboo-decorated walls with wooden masks, surfboards and all other exotic things you can think of from a beach holiday will definitely set you in the mood to go on a cocktail exploration. At least they did it for me.

If you’re a real daredevil and with a bunch of friends, there is a drink called ‘the volcano’ (pictured). A bit pricey, but it’s a lot of cocktail for your money and actually worth the experience. Later on, I was just very happy with a ‘simple’ margarita.

This is a great place to e.g. hang out after dinner on this cute little pedestrian street/ area. The staff is nice when available and not too busy and can also take requests and handle them from scratch if you wish. Traditional drinks are also available of course.

I have brought quite a few visitors passing through town here and it amazes them every time. A true holiday-themed drink experience… Aloha!
