There are a lot of good things to say about this place, like the great location right at the entrance to Kerem Hateymanim – one of my favorite areas – or the beautiful building where it’s situated.
But the most important thing is the food, which is just amazing. This place has been around for many years now, and every time I go back I discover that it hasn’t lost its magic. You can clearly see in every dish that this place is super professional and every dish is just extremely delicious. Yet the prices are not so high and the vibe is casual.
The menu is really diverse and has lots of different dishes: a variety of amazing starters like beets and cheeses or scorched artichoke; pizzas with different toppings that they make on a taboon (middle eastern oven); homemade pasta like fettuccine carbonara or mushrooms and chestnuts gnocchi, and then main courses with chicken or fish. They even have an all-vegan menu (!!) with vegan versions of their dishes, and a few designated vegan dishes like the soy bolognaise pasta or a vegan pizza. So it’s really a great place to go with a group of people that prefer different things – everyone can find something they like.
After all that, don’t give up on the desserts, especially the tiramisu (of course), but also the mille-feuille and the cheese cake.
Now imagine all this amazing food with a glass of wine on a beautiful balcony. What more do you need?
